A surprise gift arrived for Miss Wigglyhead earlier this month and it lead to some sewing shenanigans.
Her unexpected package held a beautiful Christmas dress sewn for a very good friend.
Of course, a new fancy dress required equally fancy underthings and the rest of the month was spent in a sewing marathon as everything had to be finished before Miss Wigglyhead was to leave to spend Christmas with the Gnome side of her family.
Whew – that was a lot of sewing. I learnt a few new techniques and Miss Wigglyhead now has the appropriate underpinnings to make the most of her new dress.
I put a mirror down on the floor so that Debbie could see how she looked when all the pieces were worn together. I think even she was surprised by how beautiful she looked.
She had very little time to admire herself. She threw on her cape and ran out the door, off to see her family and enjoy a traditional Gnome Christmas full of good food, even better company, laughter and lots and lots of dancing.
Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year!
